Levi's 502 60s

The Levi’s 502 was the successor to the 501ZXX jeans with a zip fly, which were discontinued in the 1960s, when youth fashion changed and jeans were introduced to the youth fashion scene. The jeans have a tapered silhouette with a narrower hem width than the previous 501s.

My 502 has faded and damaged and has been repaired in several places, so I can easily wear vintage jeans without having to think too much about maintaining their condition, so I use them frequently. The zip fly is also easy to use and comfortable for everyday wear. They are compatible with American vintage clothing, so you can enjoy a rough combination with M43 and a little luxurious Brunello Cucinelli wear.

The combination photographed here is a Brunello Cucinelli T-shirt, field jacket, Cavallo jacket, baseball cap, cassock and New Balance, a combination that softens the luxurious atmosphere of Brunello Cucinelli a little. The watch is an old Rolex red Submariner.

The equipment used was a Leica SL2-S with a Vario Elmarit SL f2.8/24-70mm ASPH set at around 70mm and fixed on a tripod, with the Leica Photos app running and the shutter clicking with an iPhone.Developed on 16inch-MacBook Pro Adobe’s Lightroom Classic.
