Levi’s 501XX 1954s

Levi's 501XX 1954

The one I own is said to have been made in 1954. The dark indigo colour is very beautiful, and the combination with the yellow stitching, which is unique to this period, creates a unique style.

Compared to later 501s, 501s from this period still retain remnants of workwear, so the silhouette has a thicker, more beautiful crease that naturally makes the legs look slimmer and more beautiful.

Combination

Enjoy Creating!

The first three photos show a 1954 Levis 501XX paired with a Tom Ford henley neck knit and military patterned corduroy shirt. The next three pictures show it paired with a Brunello Cucinelli Cavallo jacket. The last two pictures are combined with a Brunello Cucinelli field jacket. The hat is from Brunello Cucinelli, the boots are from Whites and the camera in hand is a Rolleiflex 2.8F.

The equipment used was a Leica SL2-S with a Vario Elmarit SL f2.8/24-70mm ASPH set at around 70mm and fixed on a tripod, with the Leica Photos app running and the shutter clicking with an iPhone.Developed on 16inch-MacBook Pro Adobe’s Lightroom Classic. The photos taken are published on this page on WordPress.
